Motorised Screens for Boathouse on the Broads

Recently we’ve been looking back on some past projects, and stumbled across this brilliant Verano Ritzscreen installation from last year. This lovely boat house situated in the beautiful village of Hoveton along the Norfolk Broads, was in need of some windows for weather protection, so these electronically operated Verano Ritzscreen’s proved to be an excellent solution.   

For this project, the borders are made with windproof fabric and are complete with clear PVC inserts, to allow a clear view out onto the water.

Verano Ritzscreens are typically used as external roller blinds, made with sheer fabric. They are ideal for preventing heat and glare from the sun’s rays. As well as this, they are a very effective way to keep unwanted insects out (perfect for summer months on The Broads!)
