Under Our Wing: New Folding Arm Awnings for Norwich Pub

In the 18th Century, travellers on the road between the port of Lowestoft and the fine city of Norwich had a new place to rest their horses and quench their thirst: The Gull Inn. This historic coaching house first opened its doors to drinkers nearly 300 years ago. After being closed for an extensive refurbishment, the Gull has recently reopened as a Restaurant and Freehouse offering “Niche dining with a modern twist.” As part of the refurb, we installed two new folding arm awnings.

We supplied and installed two electrically operated Weinor Cassita folding arm awnings over the entrance to the magnificently refurbished Gull Public House.

Thanks to the awnings we installed, diners in the glass fronted dining room won’t have to put up with the glare of the sun as they look out on the beautiful water feature that has been built by the exterior of the pub.
