A Stylish New Awning for Le Petit Café, Cromer
26/08/2025
There is something special about working on projects that really change the look of a place, and our recent job for Le Petit Café in Cromer was exactly that. The café wanted an awning that would be practical, but also smart enough to catch the eye of people walking past.
We installed a Weinor Topas II folding arm awning with a clean white frame and a deep forest green fabric. It’s a simple combination, but it works beautifully - classic, elegant, and perfectly suited to the café’s spot by the coast.
A personal finishing touch
Rather than leaving it plain, the team at Le Petit Café chose to have the café name signwritten on the front valance. The lettering in a flowing script adds real character, and against the dark green fabric it stands out just right. It’s a small detail, but one that makes a huge difference to the way the awning looks.
Practical as well as stylish
Of course, looks are only half the story. An awning like this has to cope with day-to-day use, giving shelter from the sun or a bit of cover when the weather turns. The Topas II is built for exactly that - reliable, durable, and easy to use. We made sure everything was mounted securely so the café can rely on it for years to come.

Why it works so well here
For cafés and restaurants, outdoor space is valuable. An inviting frontage can be the reason someone chooses your place over the one next door. This new awning gives Le Petit Café a welcoming, professional look, while also making their outdoor seating more comfortable for customers. It’s a win all round.
Our approach
At Cooks, we’ve been fitting awnings and shading solutions for decades, but no two jobs are ever quite the same. What makes the difference is finding something that fits the space, the style, and the needs of the client. With Le Petit Café, that meant balancing smart design with everyday practicality - and the result speaks for itself.
If you’re considering an awning for your own home or business, we’d be happy to talk through the options. A quick site visit is often the best way to see what would work, and our team is always on hand to share advice.
