Marking Jonny’s Retirement at Cooks

Although Christmas has been and gone, we wanted to take a moment to look back on a really nice afternoon we shared just before the break.

One Friday 19th December, everyone was invited to the Cooks showroom for a small get-together to mark our last working Friday of the year. There was food, a few drinks, plenty of chatting, and a chance to catch up properly before heading into the Christmas break.

It also gave us the opportunity to celebrate Jonny’s retirement. Jonny has been part of Cooks for many years, and for a lot of us it felt strange knowing this would be one of our last work events with him. A few words were shared, some laughs were had, and it was a really fitting way to say thank you and wish him all the best for what comes next.

We also recognised several long-serving members of the team, which is always a reminder of how much experience and loyalty we have within the business. These are the people who know Cooks inside out and help keep everything running day in, day out.

Nothing too formal, nothing over the top - just a genuine chance to spend time together, reflect on the year, and end it on a positive note. It was a lovely way to wrap things up before Christmas, and we’re proud of the team we have here.
