Supporting the Next Generation: Our Sponsorship of Stoke United U11s
28/04/2026
At Cooks Blinds, being part of our local community is something that has always been important to us. From the work we do on a day-to-day basis to supporting local initiatives and charities, we strongly believe in contributing to something that is bigger than ourselves.
It’s for that reason that we are delighted to be sponsoring Stoke United Under 11s and supporting the team with the provision of brand new tracksuits.
Grassroots football plays a vital role in bringing people together and can help young people to develop the confidence, friendships and enjoyment that comes from being part of a team. Those opportunities are only made possible though thanks to the time and effort of coaches, parents and volunteers - we’re proud to be playing a small part in supporting that.
A Day to Remember at Carrow Road
As part of their season, the girls were recently given the opportunity to enjoy a matchday experience at Carrow Road as Norwich City Women hosted their Cambridge United counterparts. It was a moment that will undoubtedly stay with them for many years to come.
On the day, they watched Norwich City Women put in an impressive performance to secure a 6-1 win. For a young team, it was great for them to be able to enjoy that atmosphere first-hand. Seeing the pace of the game, the quality on display and the energy of the crowd is something that is hard to replicate anywhere else.
Seeing the images of the team all arriving together in their new tracksuits and representing their club with such pride is a fantastic reminder of what grassroots sport is all about. Of course, results on the pitch are important; the experiences, confidence they build, and the memories they create along the way are equally as important though.

Part of a Wider Commitment to the Community
This is just the latest example of how, as a company, we are always looking for new ways to give back to the local community that has supported us for over 60 years. In the past we have been proud to support other local initiatives, including the GoGo Safari Trail, which brought colour and creativity to the streets of Norwich, while raising funds for important causes. We also continue to support organisations, such as Break, whose work helps to make a real difference to young people and their families across the region.
Each of those initiatives are different, but they all share a common goal. They look to strengthen our local community and develop opportunities for people of all ages to feel supported, connected and inspired.
Looking Ahead
It was great to see the team enjoying themselves and we hope that the new trackers serve them well going forward. If you’d like to see more from the team, you can view their recent matchday experience here.
