Weinor Terrace Awning for Domestic Norfolk Property

The awning manufacturer Weinor has some lovely terrace awnings that are suitable for both commercial and domestic use. We recently supplied and installed an electrically operated Weinor "Plaza Viva OptiStretch" framed terrace awning system to this Norfolk property.

We fitted the awning on a “gallows” bracket to give the awning a secure attachment to the wall of the house but raise the height of the awning above the roofline. The awning provides shade for a part of the terrace and has a fabric wall (Valance Plus) that can be lowered using a manual crank handle to provide privacy or prevent sunlight shining through the patio doors into the house.

The owner chose the colour scheme (frame colour in Ral 9016, acrylic awning material - A 3-501) from the extensive Weinor fabric collection.

For the motor, we installed a single phase tubular type, wired and commissioned to customers own external 13 amp waterproof fused spur. (Don’t fret if you don’t have one of these, where unavailable we can always connect to the nearest internal 3 pin socket!)
