Cooks Macmillan Coffee Morning Raises Over £200

Last week we held a Macmillan Coffee Morning, enjoying delicious cakes and bakes whilst raising funds to support the vital, wonderful charity Macmillan Cancer Care. Of course this year isn’t like normal years, but we had a fantastic time and some truly delicious homemade cakes and bakes whilst staying socially distanced and keeping to the rule of 6. We enjoyed classics like Victoria Sponge, chocolate cake and sausage rolls, as well as Smores Brownies, Banoffee cake and a beautiful rainbow cake!

A massive thank you to all team members who baked, took part in and donated to this year’s coffee morning. The brilliant event raised more than £217, and for the first time we were able to take online donations which meant we could take contactless payments and reduce cash handling.
