Meet the Team: The Friendly Faces Behind Your Quotes at Cooks Blinds

When you get in touch with us for a quote, a survey, or just a bit of advice, there’s a good chance you’ll speak to one of the people below. They’re the ones who walk you through your options, answer your questions, and help you find the right products for your home or business. We thought it was about time we introduced them properly.

This is the first in our “Meet the Team” series, and today we’re starting with two of the people you’re most likely to meet early on in your journey with us: Craig and Matty.

Craig - Sales Representative (Blinds)

20 years at Cooks Blinds

If you’ve ever had a blind measured or surveyed by us, there’s a strong chance you’ve met Craig. He’s been part of the Cooks team for two decades, and he knows blinds inside out. His day usually involves visiting customers’ homes, carrying out surveys, putting together quotes, and helping people choose what’s going to work best for their windows.

Craig’s the person you want if you’re unsure about something technical. He has a knack for explaining things clearly, without overcomplicating anything, and he’s brilliant at spotting potential issues before they become problems. Ask anyone here and they’ll tell you: Craig’s advice is always worth listening to.

When we asked him what he enjoys most about the job, he didn’t hesitate - it’s the sales side. He genuinely enjoys talking to people, figuring out what they’re looking for, and helping them find the right match.

Outside of work, Craig’s world revolves around football. If he’s not playing, he’s watching it, and he’ll happily talk you through the latest match if you give him half a chance.

Matty - Customer Service Administrator

3 years at Cooks Blinds

While Craig is often out on the road, you’re likely to meet or speak to Matty at the showroom or over the phone. He deals with all sorts of customer enquiries - everything from pricing up tenders to helping people choose blinds when they pop in to see us. He’s also heavily involved in general sales, so there’s every chance your first interaction with Cooks will be with him.

One of the things that makes Matty great at what he does is how much he enjoys meeting different people. Whether you’re calling with a quick question or visiting the showroom to explore your options, he has a way of putting people at ease.

When he’s not at work, Matty’s usually running or watching football - though not at the same time, thankfully. He’s the kind of person who is always on the move but never too busy to stop and help someone who needs it.
