Our Repair and Maintenance Service: Awnings, Blinds and Shutters

At Cooks Blinds and Shutters, we’ve been installing awnings, blinds and shutters all over East Anglia for over 50 years. However, our service doesn't stop there. We also offer maintenance and repair service on these products to ensure that they will continue to work effectively for years after their initial installation.

Awnings Repair and Maintenance

Maintenance: For both commercial and domestic installations, we recommend a periodic check on your awnings fixings. We can make sure your awning still operates at the correct height and that it is still level. Any safety features will be double checked by our maintenance team to ensure they are still working properly. 

Repair: Accidents can take their toll on your awning. User misuse is a common cause of minor faults, but we’ve also repaired awnings that have been damaged by delivery trucks and storms. 

Blinds Repair and Maintenance

Maintenance: Schools, hospitals and other larger installations can take advantage of our maintenance service on all internal blinds, tracks and fittings.

Repair: Over a long time, blinds are subject to damage from atmospheric conditions: ultraviolet radiation and central heating are two of the main culprits. All components of our blinds – fabrics, cords and toggles – are replaceable.

Shutters Repair and Maintenance

Maintenance: Sign up for periodic maintenance to your external shutters and we will make sure all your motors and mechanisms are running smoothly, cutting down on costly replacement bills if something does go wrong.

Repair: Shutters are on the exposed exterior of your building so they are bound to accumulate wear and tear over time. We can be on hand to adjust the spring balances and replace motors, locks and broken or missing slats.
