27/08/2014
Venetian blinds are a great addition to any window, allowing you to control the amount of light that comes into your home; ideal in a sunny conservatory or for blacking out a home cinema. It is sometimes be said that Venetian blinds are not as stylish or customisable as roller or Roman blinds, but we assure you that this not the case. There are many types of Venetian blinds available in a variety of styles, colours and materials allowing you to choose the ideal blinds to suit any room. Venetian blinds are available in 2 different types of material; aluminium and timber.
Aluminium
- Aluminium blinds are operated in a variety of different ways, both manually and automatic, to allow you to fully retract the blinds or tilt the slats to block out the light.
- The slats come in a choice of sizes from 16mm to 50mm for a greater level of design customisation.
- Aluminium blinds can be made in almost any colour you wish to suit the design of your room, including black which are great as blackout blinds.
Whether you want to add style to your windows, filter out the light, or blackout the room completely, Venetian blinds are a great solution. We guarantee you'll be able to find the right style of blind for you and will be able to create the perfect look for your room.
