Glass Garden Rooms: For Whatever the Great British Summer Brings
06/06/2016At Cooks Blinds and Shutters, we’ve been helping our customers get ready for the summer with new awnings and giant umbrellas. However, the Great British summer is notoriously unpredictable! Our Weinor glass garden rooms are a fantastic way to enjoy the summer, whatever the weather. Find out why they’re such a great idea – even if it starts pouring with rain at your barbeque!
Whatever the Weather
Glass garden rooms are a great way to enjoy the outdoors – whatever the Great British summer brings! Unlike other extensions like conservatories or orangeries, glass garden rooms feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows, giving you a truly immersive sense of the outdoors. Unlike the outdoors, a glass garden room gives you greater comfort. It it’s cold, switch on your Tempura Universal heating system and enjoy up to 1,500 watts of heat, which you can direct and control. If it’s hot, open up your glass sliding doors and enjoy the breeze. If it’s sunny, we can provide a range of roll down screens and awnings to reduce the sun’s glare and heat.
Privacy When You Need It
If your garden is overlooked, your glass garden room can become a secluded area with the Weinor Paravento side screen. Available in over 140 fabric colours and patterns, the unique Soltis fabric allows you to see through and enjoy your garden – without being overlooked. Simply pull the screen out whenever you need it. The Sotezza and WGM Design awning systems, designed for use over and under glass, can also provide privacy and be neatly stored away in discreet cassettes.
Day or Night
Enjoy your glass garden room all day long with remote-controlled Weinor LED lighting. The warm, gentle light can be dimmed to create the perfect mood for your evening.
